Acquisition Aficionado Magazine started their publishing journey in 2021.
In addition to creating multiple income streams within the magazine itself, they've also added income streams outside the magazine.
The thing of it is, when Len started the magazine, a lot of people told him he was crazy.
Who did he think he was starting a business magazine??
Did he really think he could compete with the likes of Forbes, Inc, Fortune, Foundr, Entrepreneur, Harvard Business Review, and Bloomberg?!
They're sharks and veritable juggernauts in the world of business magazines... comparatively Len is a minnow.
The short version: YES!
He did think he could compete.
And, compete he did.
It all began by using one of the techniques covered in the MagCast Academy: make your own niche.
You see, while the juggernauts are all locking horns with each other trying not to be "scooped" on hot business news, Len and his team are focusing just on the world of business acquisitions.
Whereas the incumbent players might cover acquisitions now and again (or even regularly) in their magazine editorial content, they're not dedicated to acquisitions like Acquisitions Aficionado is.
That distinction is everything.
It made it so Len and his team didn't have to distract themselves with content the juggernauts are all rehashing.
And, their readers wouldn't have to either.
For the reader interested specifically in business acquisitions Acquisition Aficionado scratches an itch they can't get scratched anywhere else.
Here are a few words from Len himself:
Starting Acquisition Aficionado Magazine with MagCast was one of the best business decisions I've ever made.
The training support and advice we continue to get has been off the charts great.
And our magazine would never have been as successful in such a short time without it.
In less than two years, it's opened doors that only this type of media could.
We recently sponsored a virtual Summit, which attracted over 1,000 registrants and introduced a whole new group of readers to our magazine without a dime out of pocket.
We now have an equity partnership in a new business insurance brand and partnered with one of the largest insurers in the world, just for providing the magazines educational platform, and all without any cash invested.
And we've already had multiple offers to either invest in or buy our magazine outright, but we've just begun.
